Dear Potential Science Fair Judges,
We are excited to inform you that A.G.B.U. Manoogian-Demirdjian School is having its annual Science Fair on Friday, March 10, 2017!
Project evaluations will take place on Friday, March 10, starting at 8:30 am in the Nazarian Gym, 6844 Oakdale Ave, Canoga Park, CA. All those wishing to hone their analytical skills, while simultaneously supporting a good cause, are cordially invited to help with judging on Friday, March 10th. Judges should have a background in science related field for example healthcare, computers or engineering. Volunteers to help during judging but not actual judging are welcomed as well. Projects will be grouped into categories the same as those recognized by the L.A. County ScienceFair. It would be much appreciated if volunteer judges could commit to completing entire categories. We have found that this significantly reduces the judging responsibilities placed on any one person.
In addition to fair prizes and recognition provided by the school, we are also inviting contributors to consider offering special awards for projects that might be within a volunteer's particular field of interest. Judging will take place from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm. While more is better, the AGBU MDS science teachers are aware that schedules and budgets are tight, and will be very grateful for any help given. Some categories have historically had few entries, and can be completed in a relatively short amount of time. Anyone interested in assisting with the fair in any way, even limited judging, may register here (http://bit.ly/2lMDYDS) or through any of the following contacts up until March 1, 2017.
Thank you very much for your time.
