At AGBU MDS since:
This is my first year here at AGBU MDS!
I am excited to be a kindergarten assistant teacher here and part of this wonderful team, honored in fact! This community of faculty and staff and family are wonderful and warm. I believe strongly that AGBU MDS delivers an excellent, well-rounded education with an emphasis on the whole child.

Education and background:
BFA in Fine Arts from Otis College of Art and Design in 1999.
I have been teaching Early Childhood ages for 18 years. I started my own home enrichment teaching/tutoring business for ages 3 through 9 for subjects reading, writing, math, and art in 2006.
I have also passed my CBEST test and took early childhood development units and am preschool qualified. I have worked with children on the autism spectrum and I have experience teaching children ranging in all aptitudes, from remediation to highly gifted children; Both privately and at small centers and schools. My preference and specialty is ages 3 to 6.
I have developed my own individual teaching techniques and believe that every child is different from the next and should be treated as such. All children shine and should feel that learning is fun and exciting! And it is my job to teach them that! I believe teachers learn more from their children then we can teach them!
Prior to working at AGBU, and in addition to my own tutoring business, I have been a preschool teacher for the last 2 years.

Personal, Hobbies: I am an artist and I work in my studio all the time doing commissions and my own  art work. I believe that creativity is the answer to everything and being imaginative sets everybody free! I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, friends, the man I love and my two cats! My hobbies include cooking, reading, painting, enjoying music, gardening, exercising, being active outdoors, and staying positive!
