Since its founding in 1976, the school has developed a strong academic tradition that has been the hallmark of the elementary, middle and high school program. The curriculum is planned with the goal of developing in young minds fundamental skills, critical thinking, creativity and a genuine love for learning in a supportive and caring school environment.

 

For more than thirty years, AGBU MDS has been a student-centered educational institution where we support and motivate student effort through interactive classroom instruction, after school tutoring sessions, and schoolwide activities that encourage student participation and development of leadership qualities. Our commitment to encourage and nurture the academic and personal development of every child commended to our care is at the foundation of our philosophy. Through cooperative and mutually supportive relationships students, parents and teachers have come to form a trusting and intimate school community that remains in place even after graduation. We believe when it comes to a child’s future success, no door should be closed and no opportunity left unexplored.
